A planting border idea.
A structured perennial garden in NY in early May. A reclaimed brick has been used to create an edging. Phlox subulata and Brunnera are in full bloom soon to be repaced with Campanula, Daylily and Hydrangea.

Master Landscape Plan for a Rockland County Home
A landscape plan that I designed for some clients residing in Rockland County, NY. The site is a small compound consisting of several cottages and one main residence. The homes are over 100 years old. I've designed a type of gravel driveway, grass and wildflower meadows, plantings, outddoor kitchen, patio, fire pit, dog run and a chicken pen as requested.

Master Landscape Plan Idea
I just completed this master plan for a client. I set up a series of outdoor rooms that double as individual theme gardens. A lap pool that doubles as a water feature / reflecting pool. Porch, walkways, fencing, walls etc.

Backyard masonry walls and step design ideas

Back Yard Make Over
I removed a wooden deck and created a series of planters with stone walls and a flagstone terrace. I used a variety of shrubbery and perennials to soften the space.

A Stuctured Landscape Under Construction
A northern NJ back yard landscape architecture design in progress. I terraced the back yard, separating the spaces with stone walls and garden steps. The geometric design and pillars flanking the garden steps gives the design some formality. I placed some random flagstone at the lower terrace. This area will be lawn. Once the stone walls are capped the planting phase will begin.
